What always surprises me about Upperhill,is just how bad those roads are damn.I'll never understand how it ended up having such ugly roads.
I just wish the zoning laws would ban large concrete fences and encourage pedestrian friendly designs. upperhill for all its pretty buildings doesnt feel like the cbd

Reasons why most skyscrapers are based in upper hill coz of the serene environment away from the hustle of the CBD, notable high rise kasneb, britam towers kcb headquarters, embassies found here, Serbia, Spain, Japan, British high commission, also to mention upper hill is to host Africa's tallest building after its completion
Very nice. Upperhill is very dynamic though Westlands/parklands is also a force to reckon with. Kilimani has lots of potential. Ngara and mombasa road have just began.

However, i would like to know what are the other upcoming buildings. there seems to be enclosures with mabati which indicate future buildings. Also i see pillars or pylons like those used on the express way indicating an elevated road passing through upperhill. can you investigate new upcoming buildings and the road pylons are for

Yeah upper hill is the richest square mile in East Africa & also home of most Nairobi skylines to a larger area for those who have never been to Nairobi. Daystar university Nairobi campus is also around their,Lee funeral home, Kasneb towers,the pinnacle tower though still on progress & much more

To make Upper Hill more international do the following 7 Things..
1.Create more roadside pedestrian walk ways.
2. Re paint all the road markings afresh.
3.Introduce traffic lights on all junctions
4.Remove all roadside kiosks & hotels.
5.Re route all electricity cables from the middle of the roads.
6.Fix some broken down sewage manholes & road pavements
7.Remove the old method black & white metal posts that separate the 2 roads at the middle.
ONLY THEN WILL UPPER HILL, NAIROBI BECOME APPEALING !!
