  1. I loss mine before telling my mom about a lump in my breast 21 years ago.
It grew back, but my edges fell out again after relaxers and aging . It’s growing back a little at a time now.

  2. I've experienced only once traction alopecia on my right temple. Man, I was horrified!! 😨

Fortunately I knew right away how to treat it. Now it has grown a bit below my shoulders in two years time ☺💕🙏🏾

  3. I talk to my 17 year old niece about appreciating the hair she has. She's got a head full of thick hair, something a lot of her peers don't have. A lot of those young ladies constantly have braids, faux locs, and other "protective styles" all the time. Her hair is beautiful in an afro or in a braid out or twist out or in an occasional puff. She gets braids maybe a few times a year. Peer pressure makes her want to constantly be doing something to her hair. Our young ladies need to be able to appreciate what they have. They very quickly go from wanting to wear weaves to losing hair and feeling like extensions are the only option.
