Merchant API version 3.0 released
Version 3.0 of the Merchant API is now live within the ShareASale interface.
To take advantage of the features, please update the version= parameter in your API calls to version=3.0. With this update, we’ve added the following features:
Improved StoresConnect reporting
Store ID data is now shown in the Previously Edited Transactions Report, Previously Voided Transactions Report, and Ledger Report requests. In addition, when running these reports within the ShareASale interface, Store ID data is included in the .csv export.
Automation of coupon code exclusivity
ShareASale’s Coupon Code Force Exclusivity feature, whereby a sale tracks to an affiliate whenever their exclusive coupon code is used at checkout, is now available for setup via the API. The Deal Upload and Deal Edit API calls now allow merchants to set up a coupon code and limit its usage to a specific affiliate without needing to log into the ShareASale Interface.
