  1. Always the $$$ question in web development or technology generally. When to stop supporting old stuff? In the case of Internet Explorer, the answer seems clear, but the 1% traffic number got my attention. That's potentially a lot of people! Will you alienate those viewers? I'm not sure. If they're still using IE, they're probably experiencing other issues elsewhere and ignore/don't notice, so maybe you won't lose much traffic or any. Sometimes we continue supporting old stuff without a second thought. It's always good to review assumptions now and then.
